Lead Residential Service Technician
This is a key position in a company where employees are valued and employee turnover is minimal. The company is one of two “Rheem Top Team Contractors in the Austin Area.
The Lead Technician reports to the Manager of operations
Primary duties of the Lead Technician include:
· Diagnosis, repair and service of all types of residential heating and air conditioning equipment, systems, and components. Thoroughness of diagnosis and repair is required every time.
· Assist Change Out/Installation Team as required
· Assist with training of other Technicians
· Keep tools and equipment operational and serviced
· Documents actions, repairs and recommendations by completing service invoices
· Maintains safe and healthy work environments by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
· Keep service truck clean and stocked at all times
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications
Skills / Qualifications
· Applicant must possess a high degree of honesty and integrity
· Applicant must present and conduct himself in a very professional manner
· Applicant must possess and demonstrate a high degree of technical knowledge. NATE or other skill certification a plus. Must be FPA-certified.
Must pass a drug test, background check and have a good driving record.
